Overall meaning : The Almighty says: Allah, who has sent down the Qur’an to you, Muhammad, will surely bring you back home victoriously to Makkah after you have been driven out of it by your idolatrous people, then you will be admitted into Paradise in the hereafter. Say to them, Muhammad, ‘My Lord knows best who has brought true guidance and who is plainly wandering in error and astray from the truth.
You, Muhammad, never expected the Qur’an would be revealed to you, but Allah has sent it down to you as a mercy from Him; therefore, lend no support to the unbelievers. Do not let these unbelievers turn you away from what Allah has revealed to you in the Qur’an now that He has revealed it to you. Call people to the worship of your Lord, and on no account be of those who ascribe partners with Allah by helping them or desisting from calling them to the truth. Never worship or call upon any god other than Allah, for there is no god who is worthy of worship except Allah. Everything will perish except Him. With Him rests all judgement, and to Him will you all be returned after your death for judgement and recompense.
