Overall meaning : These are two groups who have disputed about their Lord and His oneness: the believers and the unbelievers. Garments of fire have been cut out for the unbelievers which they will have to wear, intensely boiling water will be poured down over their heads and the angels will beat with iron crooks over the head. Whenever they try to come out of the Fire, on account of the deep grief and anguish they will suffer in it, they will be driven back into it and told, ‘Taste the torment of the Burning Fire.’
