Overall meaning : Almighty Allah says: When Jacob and his family arrived in Egypt and presented themselves before Joseph, he embraced his parents and received them graciously. Then, saying to all his family, 'Enter Egypt and make it your home. If Allah so wills, you will be safe and secure here.’
He seated his parents by his side on the throne, and they all, including his parents, fell down on their knees and prostrated themselves before Joseph as a form of great respect and reverence. Then he said to his father, 'Father, all your prostrating to me is the interpretation of the dream I saw in my childhood, which my Lord has now made it all come true. Allah Almighty was truly kind to me when He freed me from prison and brought you all from the desert after Satan had sown discord between me and my brothers and stirred up trouble between us. My Lord is extremely kind to anyone He pleases and always fulfils His purpose for whomever He wills in subtle ways. He is indeed All-Knowing, All-Wise.’
Joseph then called upon Allah, saying, 'My Lord, You have granted me some power and authority over Egypt and you have taught me the interpretation of dreams and made me understand the meaning of revealed scriptures and the prophets’ ways. Originator of the heavens and the earth! You are my guardian and protector in this world and in the world to come. Allow me to die a Muslim, and grant me such rewards and degrees of honour as to be admitted me among the righteous.’
