Overall meaning : Allah, Exalted be He, states that after the King of Egypt had learnt of Joseph’s innocence, he said, 'Bring him to me. I will surely attach him to my own person and appoint him my closest advisor.’ Joseph came, and after the king had spoken to him, and clearly perceived that he was a man of admirable qualities and high integrity and was fully convinced now of his innocence, he said to him, 'From now on, you will be in a position of high standing and you will be entrusted with everything.’
Now Joseph, desiring to benefit people and establish justice between them for the sake of the common good, he said to the king, 'Put me in charge of the storehouses of the land, for I am a truly reliable and faithful treasurer and I am highly skilled in this regard.’ Just as Allah blessed Joseph by having him freed from prison, He, too, established him in a position of authority in the land of Egypt, to settle there wherever he wished. We grant Our grace to whomever We will of Our servants, and We never allow the reward of those who do good deeds to go to waste. Surely better and far greater will be the reward of the life to come for those who believe in Allah, fear His punishment, do what He commands and avoid what He forbids.
