Overall meaning : Say, Muhammad, to the idolaters among your people, ‘I do not ask you for any worldly reward for conveying my Lord’s message to you, nor am I one of those who claim to be what they are not. This Qur’an is only an admonition from Allah to the jinn and mankind, whereby they will attain great honour in this life and in the life to come if they do what its commands and abandon what it forbids. You will certainly come to know its truth after a specific time known only to Allah.’
