Overall meaning : Bear patiently what these idolaters say, Muhammad, and remember Our servant David, who was endowed with great strength. He frequently turned to Us in penitence. We subjected the mountains to join him in praising Us and extolling Our limitless glory in the evening and at sunrise, and the birds, too, in all their flocks, all echoing his praise. We made his kingdom strong and well established, and We bestowed on him wisdom, decisive speech and sound judgement.
