Overall meaning : The Almighty says: Hence, give your relatives their due (their right to benevolence and financial assistance), as well as the poor (their right to charity) and the travellers who cannot afford travel expenses to return to their homelands (their right to hospitality and aid to enable them to reach their destination). That is best for those who seek Allah’s reward for their actions and look forward to seeing His Countenance. It is they who will be successful in this life and in the life to come.
Whatever wealth you, people, give on interest to increase it from other people’s wealth, hoping to receive more in return, will bring no increase whatsoever with Allah and there is no good in it; but whatever you give in charity, seeking Allah’ hood pleasure and reward, will be repaid to you many times over.
It is Allah who has created you from nothing and provided you with sustenance. He will cause you to die, then He will bring you back to life on the Day of Resurrection. Can any of your gods, you who associate partners with Allah, do any of these things? Far Exalted is Allah above what these idolaters associate with Him!
