Overall meaning : Allah Almighty enjoins His faithful servants to leave the land in which they are persecuted and cannot possibly practise their faith: My servants, who believe in Me! If you are in a land where you are oppressed and persecuted on account of your faith, then emigrate to a place where you can freely worship me, for My earth is spacious; therefore, worship Me alone.
Also, in order to encourage them to emigrate, He makes it clear to them that death will overtake them wherever they may be: Every soul will taste death and leave this world, then will you all be returned to Us to repay you for your actions.
Then, pointing out the rich reward He has in store for the true believers, He says: Those who believe and do righteous deeds, We will surely make them dwell in lofty mansions of Paradise beneath which rivers flow, where they will remain for ever—an excellent reward for those who do good deeds in obedience to their Lord, those who persevere and remain patient in adversity and bear whatever difficulties they meet for the sake of their religion, and put their trust in their Lord.
