Overall meaning : Allah says: Mention to the people, Muhammad, Lot, when he said to his people, ‘You commit such disgraceful immoral acts that no one else in the world has ever committed before you. You lust after other men, waylay travellers on the road and engage in abominable words and deeds in your gatherings.’ But his people’s only answer was, ‘Bring down Allah’s punishment upon us, if what you say is true.’ Lot prayed, ‘Lord, help me against these wicked people who spread corruption.’
