Overall meaning : The Almighty says: As for those who emigrate and leave their homes in the cause of Allah, thereby seeking His good pleasure, after the unbelievers have oppressed and persecuted them to turn them away from their religion, We will surely provide them with a good abode which will please them as well as abundant sustenance in this world; yet better still is their reward in the life to come: Paradise. Had those who neglected to migrate known the reward Allah has in store for those who emigrate in His cause, none of them would have done so. Those who emigrate for the cause of Allah are the ones who patiently persevere in obedience to Allah’s commands and through adversity and in their Lord alone they put their trust.
