Overall meaning : Such luminous light is found in mosques which Allah has sanctioned to be built, honoured and purified, and His name to be mentioned in them. He is glorified there morning and evening by men whom neither buying nor selling diverts from remembering their Lord, performing prayers or paying zakat to those entitled to it; who dread the Day of Judgement, by whose horrors and terrors people’s hearts will be violently shaken. They do so in order that Allah may reward them according to the best of what they have ever done and give them yet more than what they deserve out of His munificent bounty. Allah gives whomever He wills without limit.
