Overall meaning : Whomever Allah leads astray because of his wrongdoing will have no guardian to take care of him after Allah has left him to stray. You will see those who have wronged themselves because of their unbelief, Muhammad, when they see the punishment prepared for them on Judgement Day, remorsefully say, ‘Is there any way for us to be sent back to the world so we may obey Allah?!’ You will see them brought before the Fire, totally disgraced and humiliated, furtively looking at it out of intense fear!
The believers will then say, ‘The true losers are those who have lost themselves and all their families on this Day of Resurrection.’ The wrongdoers will surely suffer an everlasting punishment. They will have no protectors on that day to save them from Allah’s punishment. Whomever Allah leaves to stray will find no way to the truth in this life, nor to Paradise in the life to come.
