Overall meaning : Noah called upon Us for help against his people when they denied him, and We graciously answered his prayer. We are the best to answer prayers. We saved him and the believing members of his household and all the believers with him from the great distress, and made his descendants the sole survivors. We bestowed on him the praise of later generations: ‘Allah’s peace be upon Noah among all the nations.’ Thus do We reward those who do good. He was truly one of Our believing servants. Then We drowned his disbelieving people.
