Overall meaning : The true believers have certainly attained success: They are those who humble themselves in their prayers; who turn away from idle talk and all forms of falsehood; who pay zakat due on their wealth; who guard their chastity by not engaging in forbidden intimate relations, except with their wives or the female slaves they rightfully possess, in which case they are from blame—but whosever seeks to go beyond these limits set by Allah will then be committing an unlawful act; who are faithful their trusts and fulfil all their covenants; and who persevere in duly performing their prayers on time with all their requirements and conditions. These will be the inheritors of the dwellings of the inhabitants of Hell in Paradise—which the unbelievers would have themselves had if they had believed. They will inherit the Gardens of Paradise, in which they will abide forever.
