Overall meaning : Allah Almighty says: Say, Gabriel, to Muhammad: We, the angels, do descend from the heavens to earth only by the command of your Lord; do not, therefore, find us too slow to come down. To Allah alone belong all directions and places, as well as all present, past and future times, and thus we cannot possibly move from one place or time to another except by your Lord’s command and will. Never does your Lord forget anything. He is the Lord, Creator and disposer of all the heavens of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; therefore, worship Him alone, Muhammad, and be steadfast in your obedience to Him; for there is nothing like Him in terms of His being, names, attributes and actions that deserves to be worshiped besides Him, nor to be called by the beautiful names that are exclusively His.
