Overall meaning : Allah Almighty says: Allah showers His blessings on His Prophet Muhammad and praises him to the angels drawn near to Him; His angels also praise him and pray to Allah for him. Believers, invoke Allah’s blessings upon him and salute him with worthy greetings of peace. Those who affront Allah and His Messenger Muhammad, either by word or deed, Allah has excluded from His grace in this world and the next, and He has prepared a humiliating punishment for them. Those who abuse and affront believing men and women without their having done any wrong bear the guilt of calumny and a manifest sin.
