Overall meaning : This Qur’an makes clear to the Children of Israel the truth regarding most of what they differ about; and if they followed it, they would certainly be guided by it.
This Qur’an is indeed guidance and a mercy for the believers. Your Lord, Muhammad, will decide between His differing servants on the Day of Resurrection with His just judgment. He is the Almighty and the All-Dominant, who inflicts punishment on His enemies and reigns supreme over everyone; the All-Knowing, who is fully aware of everyone’s actions and intentions. Therefore, rely on Allah alone and entrust all your affairs to Him, for you are following the manifest truth.
You, Muhammad, cannot guide these unbelievers who have totally rejected the truth and refused to listen to it, for they are just like the dead who do not feel anything and the deaf who cannot hear. Nor can you guide the unbelievers who choose to be blind to the truth and guide them out of their error. You can make none hear the truth except those who are willing to believe in Our signs and revelations and act upon them, sincerely surrendering themselves to Us.
And when the unbelievers become deserving of punishment for their stubborn unbelief and wickedness [towards the end of times when the Day of Judgement draws near], We will bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that will speak to the unbelievers, telling them that people who denied the resurrection had no true faith in Our revelations and signs
