Overall meaning : When the greatest and severest calamity strikes, on that day man will clearly remember all the good and bad deeds he did in the life of the world and the Fire will be placed in full view for all people to see clearly.
Those who transgress their limits, arrogantly rebelling against Allah’s commands, and prefer the pleasures of this present, giving them precedence over the next life, will have their home in Hellfire; as for those who fear to stand before their Lord for judgement on Resurrection Day and restrain themselves from whims and desires and from what is displeasing to Allah will have their home in Paradise in the hereafter.
